ACTION PACKED ANIMALS IN THE NEW FILM: THE RETURN OF XANDER CAGE

James Knapp

Excited to see Vin Diesel reprise his role as Xander Cage in the new action film xXx: The Return of Xander Cage? Make sure to keep an eye out for some animals in the movie provided by GreenScreen Animals. To add the difficult animal shots required for this film, Paramount Pictures came to GSA for clips of our lions to complete one of the scenes in the film.

Even though Vin Diesel is one of the toughest guys in Hollywood, he still wouldn’t be able to be completely safe with 3 live lions on set. Luckily he didn’t have to thanks to our green screen animal footage. By seamlessly blending live action film footage with our pre-shot animal footage, actors and crew can safely work on set and still look like they were in the same location as a dangerous lion.

Our footage is shot at high 6K resolution to make it usable in any production, from big screen action thrillers like xXx: The Return of Xander Cage to the smallest YouTube videos. Take a look at our lion footage below and see if you can spot which clips were used in xXx: The Return Xander Cage and make sure to catch the movie in theaters everywhere this Friday, January 20th.
