FOOTAGE OF AN AFRICAN ELEPHANT LIFTING TRUNK AND SHAKING HEAD FACING FORWARD ON GREEN SCREEN.
The African elephant is a genus that involves two types of elephants:
- The African bush elephant
- The smaller African forest elephant
Quick facts:
Elephants are the largest land animals in the world. They have massive bodies with large ears and long trunks. You can differentiate between the two types of elephants by the size and color of their tusks, ears, and skull shape and size.
An average elephant will measure 18.04-21.32 feet (5.5-6.5m) in length, and 9.18-10.50 feet (2.8m-3.2m) in height. Which makes it weigh 5,952.48-13,227.74 lbs (2,700-6,000kg), depending on the elephant type. With that size and that mass, the elephant is able to go at a speed up to 40km/h. The elephants have a very high lifespan. They are very close to humans’ lifespan (80years), with an expected lifespan that can go up to 60 or 70 years.
The elephant is a symbol of good luck, wisdom, power, and fertility in many cultures. You may use some elephant footage in your project to pass your ideas and message with just visuals, and add a certain symbolization touch to your work with no need for too much talk.
